Shumenov is jabbing and falling in with the right hand, missing both as Hopkins drops and moves the head. Slapping left hook by Shumenov. Lead left hook by Hopkins stops Shumenov in his tracks. Shumenov is scoring with the jab on the upper lip but getting countered with crosses and jabs as Hopkins steps around him. Lead right by Shumenov. Hopkins struts to his right, chin up in the air defiantly. Shumenov reaches with a 1-2 and Hopkins melts away, dodging and counter-jabbing with timing more than speed. Shumenov is pressing, making Hopkins trade jabs with him, picking up the pace, both landing. Shumenov lands a hook at the bell.
