Agreed. When did this crap change anyway?

Very true once Floyd loses, he loses all those fake ** fans. who thinks its cool just to say "Money May" "yeh, TMT all day" just look these ****** hipster/geeky trends. Floyd Mayweather is just a trend, once he loses its goonery after.
Floyd's fights are not entertaining to the casuals who want all action, combos, knockdowns/KOs. Entertaining to the hardcore community to some

Em said it best in his song ***hole
"I'm back and you can't stop me
You knock me down, I went down from the counter
I fell but the fans caught me, and now
You're gonna have to beat the ****in pants off me
To take my belt, word to Pacquiao"

Its like Gladiator, Floyd is Cesar , while Pacquiao is gladiator.
The real people know who the true warrior was and in the end when its all said and done, you will see who the fans remember more and carry on the legacy of.

didn't bother to read the OP
Pac is greater than Floyd in terms of historical ranking
Floyd is better than Pac in terms of boxing skills
Pac's shot to shit now while Floyd's past it but still top shelf
Floyd would kill Pac in 3 at this point if they fought
forget Pac-Floyd, it's worthless now, WAY too late

I was agreeing with you until you went on and did the exact same thing you're complaining about - trying to get 'one up' on Floyds fans or whatever.

I've been a fan of this sport since a very young age and a big fan of both fighters but this kind of posturing between the fighters, their teams and fans has been going on too long. So much so that I wouldn't have minded too much if Pac lost this weekend. That would've finally ended this whole debate and we can go on to discuss other fighters and fights that are actually happening.

Both great fighters of this era, it's been a pleasure to watch them both do what they do but somewhere along the line I lost appreciation for both and just wanted them to go away because of the **** the TS was talking about in the majority of his post. Once it's all said and done and people have finally moved on from this, I can look back and say it was great when these two were around but at the moment I'm sick of these two being compared. The time for them to fight has long gone, if it does happen it'll be like Roy-BhopII, meaningless.

The one thing Manny has Mayweather doesn't? Is integrity and honesty. The man will fight balls to the wall unlike that pillock Mayweather.

Doesn't make me like Floyd any less tho. I like/appreciate them both. Just apples and oranges.

i will still want to see pac vs floyd just to see if you are correct that floyd will kill pac in 3...

been so long i saw floyd kill anybody.....

except the fans who don't get their money's worth watching him fight...

it is why floyd's fights under cards were always loaded up with other big names

Which is the reason why he fought rios, right? And that's also the reason he declined to fight Floyd on multiple occasions.

I can't believe this crap between Pacquiao fans and Floyd fans is still going on. Each side trying to one up each other with this article or that YouTube video. Analyzing their every word to prove Floyd is this and Manny did that. Not only do we have our own opinion of Floyd and Manny, but it now seems like we are giving our opinion on how the rest of the world is going to view both of them when their careers come to a close. Floyd will be looked at like this. Manny will be looked at like that. Give me a break. There is one major difference between those who support Floyd and those who support Manny. The fans that back Manny love this guy. He means so much to his people back home, his fans around the world and vice versa. You guys can talk all you want and try to prove one thing over the other, but this is the one thing Floyd will never have, and that's the true support and love of his fans.
I see where you're going and I don't totally agree but I don't totally disagree either. Floyd clearly has a fanbase that sticks behind him. However as a nation he does not have that. The U.S. is such a melting pot, and we really only stick by our fighters when they compete in the Olympics. However Manny has an entire nation behind him. And they support him win lose or draw.

Lying to yourself doesn't make it true. Cotto had just defeated clottey before facing Pac. Margarito just defeated roberto garcia before facing Pac. Mosley fought to a draw against Sergio mora prior to facing Pac. Both Rios and Pac were both coming off losses before their bouts. Erik Morales had just lost to a hof fighter in Antonio Barrera. There's no shame in that.
