we will never see another manny or floyd.

nobody in the sport right now will be as polarizing as floyd and loved like manny.

canelo will probably get a boxing lesson from lara, unfortunately and take another loss. broner has already been semi-exposed. then we have some popular guys like GGG but hes not going to be carrying boxing or be a PPV star

I look forward to the day when they both retire. The sport is too divided now and it mostly points back to these two guys.

It will present the sport with an opportunity (disguised as a setback) to put less emphasis on PPV as the only goal, and make promoters and networks work harder to build regional and grassroots followings for fighters.

Hopefully once the PPV frenzy wears off the cold war will subside to the point where you can get a small to medium purse fighters on the same card.

              hopefully noone...for a while

having 2 such dominant figures has polarized the sport and allowed each promotional company a big enough cash cow to let their petty feuds kill potentially great fights

with those 2 gone, hopefully it forces the promoters to squash their **** and work together to make money involving other fighters
