But for Floyd's standards, he's WELL past his best and nearly washed up. His legs are gone and his power does not carry up in weight. He's 37 going on 38. He's past his best and been past it for a long time.
Floyd is not past it, he is actually better now than when he was at 135. I don't even see any slippage at all. Watch his reflexes in the nelo fight and his hop step still quick as ever.

He is not washed up, he actually looks better now than he did in the de La hoya fight.

The first two are pure garbage. Bradley wasn't even a welter weight until Pac decided to pull him up from 140. Remember Floyd fighting undefeated Fatton when he had to move up to 147? Yeah same thing.

Floyd fighting Clottey and the cowardly cheat Marg would look very similar to the Baldo and Alvarez fights. Neither would have done anything even when outweighing him by 10-20 pounds. Just punching bags and people would cry about that too.

But of course no matter who Floyd fights people will cry about it. Always have and always will. Champion, title holder, P4P or a simple contender, people always cry.

Even at 37 and well past his best fighting guys in their prime, people cry about it. Same **** different story.

Cut it out. You weren't even watching boxing back then. Floyd looks nowhere near what he did even when he fought Hoya at 154 years ago.

Floyd is slipping and has been slipping its just hard to tell because he's been so much better than everyone which is why nobody would be the betting favorite to beat him. Not one.

If Floyd didn't dominate nearly the entire fight vs Maidana you might have a case for double standards, assuming people still praised the victory.

Ultimately, Floyd doesn't need a KO. He needs to do what he always does. and dominate from beginning to end over 12 rounds. Now if he gets the KO/TKO, that is just icing on the cake.
Wess still in here body'ing fools.

I hope Chino can make it competitive, but I fear Floyd will make him look completely lost and utterly clueless. The one big thing in his favour is that he's not going to be one of those idiots who comes from in and tries to outbox Mayweather in the middle of the ring. He knows his limits I think, and he'll do everything in his power to make it his sort of bruising fight. He probably won't succeed, but at least he'll go out all guns blazing.

are you seriously saying floyd hasnt declined physically in every way? Now I agree when it comes to ring IQ hes def better now than at 135 but physically hes declined quite a bit.

I wouldn't be surprised if he goes the Hatton route and try to smother Floyd. Granted he's going to take a serious beating from counter shots but its his only chance. He can't let Floyd have too much distance... or he gets embarrassed.

His IQ is def. better. That I will most def agree with. He has to outsmart fighters rather than stopping them like he did in the lower weight classes.

Mayweather isn't a knockout puncher, and Maidana has never been stopped. I wouldn't expect this fight to end prematurely, If anyone is getting the stoppage it would be Maidana.

                      Stoppage......

I think we should hold Floyd to the standard he holds other fighters to. If he is TBE, he will stop MM. Maidana's chin is suspect over 12 rounds and Floyd should stop him because he is a C Level fighter who really doesn't belong in the ring with him, anyways. Dig this, one of Floyd's biggest flaws, is that he doesn't have killer instinct to finish his opponent. If he did, he would be even more awesome. When you're in the ring with an inferior opponent, you should try and get them out of there. He talks as if Manny ain't nothing, let's hold him to the same regard if he can't finish a C Level fighter.
