Let me get this right, you're saying that if Floyd doesn't stop a champion who had never been stopped before them Floyd is a bum? I guess Floyd totally out classing the best 154 lb fighter in his last fight meant nothing to you.
I guess pac really shouldn't have thought about fighting Bradley since pac couldn't stop Rios.

Floyd is WELL past his best. He's nearly one fight from being a washed up bum. He's A LOT slower and has no legs. He can barley get around the ring. ESPECIALLY compared to his prime weight of 135 when he was at his VERY best. Floyd at 154 is ****. Floyd at 147 is far less superior to what he once was at his prime fighting weight class.

Ironically, even Floyd being old, nearly shot and washed up, he's still the betting favorite over everyone. Not ONE single fighter would be favored, let alone the A-side of the fight.

A nearly shot 37 year old, bloated fighter favored to beat everyone is pretty impressive.

I think you need your eyes checked, Floyd is not nearly shot or washed up, you only get shot or washed up if you been in a lot of brutal wars.

Floyd has never been in a war and he takes care of his body and is always in top condition like B hop. Floyd is fast as lightening still, fast guys can get caught too, but Floyd has an Iron jaw like his father. Floyds father could take a punch, it was roger who had a china chin, Roger has a glass jaw but lots of power, Floyd has okay pop but an iron chin like his father they both got speed and good chins.

If you see Floyd sr who is 60 years old now, he has super fast hands still, this why Floyd will never be washed up or lose his speed the guy has it in his genetics to have quick reflexes.

Well, if Bob was still promoting Mayweather he could potentially rob Floyd and let Maidana win.

Maidana all of a sudden becomes top 5 P4P if not top 3 P4P. Then comes the rematch.

Assuming Floyd wins the rematch, people like you can say he just beat a top 3 P4P fighter. However that won't happen because when Floyd dominates, a fighter can hardly make a case for winning more than a round or 2. Especially when people are furious that a fighter just can't hit Floyd. You can't win if you can't hit anything. (Then again, Calzaghe "beat" Hopkins). lol

If Floyd didn't dominate nearly the entire fight vs Maidana you might have a case for double standards, assuming people still praised the victory.

Ultimately, Floyd doesn't need a KO. He needs to do what he always does. and dominate from beginning to end over 12 rounds. Now if he gets the KO/TKO, that is just icing on the cake.
Thats where the problem arises. Pacquiao was known for knocking people out five years ago at the age of 30. He Is now 35 and at the end of his career with maybe two good fights left In him. I would think that Instead of criticizing him for not being a ko artist any longer he would be praised for adapting his style and finding a way to win.

And for Pacquiao, only ****** or extreme Floyd fans would not give him respect for bouncing back. He's a legend and deserve all the respect in the world for still fighting against top competitor after his ko loss.

                Good post. Green worthy.

Well it doesn't help that he "lost" his "power" right when Floyd, et el started accusing Pac of using PEDs. People still expected Pac to KO/TKO fighters as the last thing to go is power. Yet Pac just doesn't seem to have it. Even when fighting at the same weight class for the past 4 to 5 years.

If Floyd was still fighting at 135 fighting guys who fight at 135, yes we would be expecting him to KO guys like he once did. Pac is ironically fighting guys who don't even fight at 147, but had to move up in weight and he's not knocking them out. There is a difference.

However I don't personally expect him to stop anyone but I understand why others do. I said a long time ago Pac won't be stopping anyone anymore and he hasn't since. In fact I don't expect Floyd or Pac to stop anyone anymore but just to dominate.

Maybe it's his opponents? Clottey, Margs and Bradley have iron chins.

Floyd is nowhere near the level he was in his prime when fighting at 135. He is slower and can't move around the ring. That doesn't mean he's still not faster than his opposition when you compare it.

But for Floyd's standards, he's WELL past his best and nearly washed up. His legs are gone and his power does not carry up in weight. He's 37 going on 38. He's past his best and been past it for a long time.
