You All Are Wrong About Marcos "About Sledgehammers" Maidana

Most of you repeat the same regurgitated rubbish about Maidana being a plodding forward, cement footed one dimensional fighter who blocks punches with his face. This couldn't be further from the truth, and it really shows who just co signs what they hear in the media, and who watches him fight.

Some of us have been watching him since day one and we have seen him evolve, and become a solid boxer with good defense, a good jab, and a higher ring IQ. Maidana can close the distance on fighters and cut off the ring, and is unpredictable with his unorthodox punches and will take Floyd to deep waters and prove so many of you wrong!

Another LoadedPost from LoadedWraps!!! Schooling these clueless fools on the sport of boxing.

Whoever doesn't give Maidana a chance doesn't know the sport of boxing. ONE punch can change a fight, one instance could be all it takes; ask Chavez Sr. History reminds us that if there is one sport where anything can happen, it's boxing. The fight game, the game of punches. Maidana throws some of the most awkward shots and combinations in the sport, far from textbook form which makes preparation against them hard to accomplish.

If you can't see the punch, it hurts that much more and Maidana does enough damage as it is. This will be a rare wild bull chasing a matador who has experience but not against this type of breed that hail from the countryside of Argentina.

well certainly anything can happen in boxing and maidana does have a big punch... but i give him about a 1% chance here to beat mayweather. it seems like floyd is looking better and better. of course hes not in his top peak physical condition from years ago but maybe hes improved as a boxer, sharpening his timing, ring IQ, measuring distance

Marcos will give us a show granted Mayweather doesn't stay on the back foot the whole time.
