Anybody else thinks guys like Thurman or Shawn Porter could beat Bradley or Marquez?

Right now we have quite a few undersized fighters in the Welterweight Division. And the big networks do not let them ride into the sunset because they have name value and the public knows that "Pacquiao is one of the best" and that "Marquez is one of the best". And now we even were told that "Bradley is one of the best".
Well yes, they are among the best fighters in the world but they are also very undersized for the 147 pound division, all of them. But Welterweight is where the money is because of De la Hoya and Trinidad earlier and now Mayweather (and Pacquiao). So - when I look at guys like Keith Thurman and Shawn Porter, I see two skillful, physically strong welterweights who I think could beat Bradley or Marquez at 147. I do not think they could beat Pacquiao or Mayweather but Thurman vs Bradley and Thurman vs Marquez is a 50:50 fight in my opinion.

Poll: Do you think Keith Thurman can beat Bradley and Marquez at 147?

It's still crazy to me that Porter fought at 165 as an amateur. The guy is only 5'7" or so. Same with Bradley, who fought at 152 in the amateurs.

I will say this... If pac is as easy to hit with that technique Bradley showed...no way he beats Thurman. I think Pac beats Porter though. Just not Thurman at this stage. He's just not big, strong, or skilled enough for that matchup. When you got Bradley buzzing you (talking to Pac and Marquez) it might be about tht time....

For the love of God. Just give me two clear Thurman wins against two credible guys. I want to believe. I'm just not there yet.

Porter sucks what you saw in the Alexander fight that's as good as he is going to get. So no way he beats PAC or jmm

Thurman who the *** has he beat to make such silly claims. Still unproven at this point.

Bradley beats both of them. I'm sorry but Thurman is in show and prove territory. It could very well be that everyone is ducking him.

But I have questions about some of his performances. He couldn't finish Zaveck, who basically fought with a tight guard the entire fight. He didn't look good against Diego Chaves in the first 5 rounds. He got clipped by Soto Karass. He has major questions about his defense imo. He's not proven. He's never faced anyone that could remotely pose a threat to him. How about putting him in with Devon Alexander? I think that's a good measuring stick.

Bradley is more battle tested, he's faced all the styles and he's a good fighter as well.

I think Porter is solid. But I can't get that Julio Diaz fight out of my head, that was just awful. I know everyone can have a bad night and he did avenge the loss in clear cut fashion But I'll be more sold if he beats Paulie convincingly.

I think the right Tim Bradley beats both. I think Pac beats both as well.

                    The wonderful world of NSB.

The day before you're one of the 3 or 4 best fighters on the planet. 24 hours later you're a bum that gets wrecked by half of the weight class and should retire to begin his career as a fitness trainer at 24 hour fitness.
