Its kinda sad to see how much slower and worn down Pac truly is now. Maybe it's even worse because I had just finished watching Pac vs ODLH again before the Bradley fight. Pac's punches just don't have that snap anymore, he's much slower, he doesn't throw as much and a few other things. He beat Bradley fairly easily again, but I agree with others he didn't look as good as before. It was bound to happen sometime.

He's still P4P #2 as of right now though that speaks volumes.

I mean, look at Amir Khan. It's the same scenario. With Ariza, Khan was a beast, could floor guys with one punch whether it's to the body or head, and could take numerous hard punches and not hit the canvas once. But the Khan without Ariza? He goes down easily. It's going to be comical when he fights Collazo.

Ariza was a key ingredient to both these guys stellar performances.
Ariza did an amazing job when he trained Rios for Pacquiao too right?

He's on the down, he's 35 and his style honestly isn't suited for that high intensity 3minute 12 round fights....I can see he paces himself and is more methodical and economical when he's throwing his punches.

He can only do so much these days, I honestly hope he retires soon and really the only fight left is Floyd...he still has it to beat most but he done more than enough for the sport. We need the younger guys to step up.

There haven't been many fighters in the history of the sport who can comprehensively beat the p4p No.3 in the world 9 rounds to three only to hear from us pundits that he is 'past it' and should retire, he hasn't recovered from the KO etc.

I think everyone has underrated the achievement of Manny's comeback, simply by shrugging him off as superman. But I can't think of anyone else who came back to beat a legitimate p4p top 5 after such a crushing KO defeat in their 30's.

Remember what happened after Paul Williams- Martinez 2, Taylor - Pavlik, Hatton - Pacman, Montiel - Donaire? All the losers in these bouts would never threaten a top 10 p4p again. And to top it off, look at all the other KO of the year victims in times past and where their careers went after, maybe then you can realize and appreciate how hard and improbable it is to come back from such a brutal defeat. To do this AFTER all his achievements puts this Pacman performance in his top 3 imho. I don't know why so many are so critical.

Manny still has it, it's just not what it once was...I only want to see him fight a couple more times, too many times in this sport we see fighters on the slow slide misundersetimate their leaving times, it would be a shame to see this happen to him.

He is still capable of winning and looking great, I just dont want to see Manny stay too long like so many of the greats before him...I think twice more would wrap it up for him, leave before he shows signs of being shot and retire proudly like he deserves too.

I wouldn't be shocked at all if Alvarado got JMM. A lot of JMM guys here are talking like it's some kind of cherrypick. I really don't think so. I really don't know if JMM has a 'Rios but with a little more craft and adaptability' in him. As long a the Rios and Provodnikov wars didn't ruin Alvarado this is the kind of fight that could suddenly make JMM look very old.

Manny has still got it, but he gets hit HARD now. He is not seeing the straight rights like he used to, and he got flattened by Marquez in the 2nd, and lifted off his feet by Bradley. He's fighting more on pride and will, and not skills. He'll still beat Marquez in a rematch for revenge, but then he should ride off into the sunset.

It's because Joel Diaz went to mannys locker room and apologized for clowning him. You can see it in his face that he was ready to fight before then Diaz played mind games.

I think Roach is kinda sad because he knows Pacquiao is at the end of his rope. Really, what's left to accomplish? If not avenging the Marquez loss then Mayweather. If not, I seriously believe he should hang them up.

flomos and pac haters is so desperate to hate on manny.. now their saying manny doesnt have the "juice power" anymore because of ariza LOL.. yeah lets forget the fact that manny is 35 now and was knocked out cold just 2 fights ago. if ariza is the secret to pac's punching power and taking big shots then explain how marquez was able to drop manny and then knocked him out?

manny has over 30 + KO way before ariza came on board, ariza came into pac's camp around 07-08 for the david diaz fight, so explain where the 30+ ko came from then prior to ariza joining team pacman LOL. yall acting like ariza is responsible for pac knocking his oppoents out LOL. pac's last legit ko was hatton, which was below the WW limit, pac fought cotto at a CW of 145 and wasnt able to ko cotto but got a tko instead. so why is people acting suprise now that pac aint knocking WW guys out, since when has pac done this before even with ariza???
