fact of the matter is, when it comes to floyd this is the two things that stick out in his resume:

    1. He has yet to face a legitimate hall of famer in their prime.

    2. His best win is diego corrales, someone who isnt even a legit hall of famer.

How great is floyd really when compared to other ATGs?

his resume is really lacking compared to other ATGs when you think about it.
The thread is about "does floyd have a win as good as tim" not comparing him to other ATGs

Floyd most certainly has wins comparable to manny beating bradley

I just shown you how bs it is and now you trying to pull this card. Bradley is a good fighter but he is not elite. Just like Margarito is NOT elite and never was.
      was margarito ever p4p #3?

what was the highest margarito got p4p wise?

It maybe lacking but even with that he still has one of the best resumes of anyone fighting now. What names does Pac have in the past that Floyd doesn't? There about even in my IMO.

        • Probably I am one of the few posters here that still believed that Pac has a chance to beat Floyd even today.

Each and every one of us has our own opinion as well as Floyd not agreeing to fight Manny as of today.

A past prime Pac still has talents and skills left to fight everyone at 147 lbs.

          • Shane Mosley was P4P Number 3 and the Number 1 ranked WW when Floyd beat him.

And did the TS call Bradley SLICK??

COME ON! That same Judah lost to Baldo can't hold it for 12 rounds mentally.

              • I find it especially hilarious that Floyd fans will say/agree that, Floyd's "best" win was Diego. This was 13 YEARS AGO people!!!! Since then, it's been a big bowl of cherries. Pac beats Bradley (a highly ranked WW), and he's now a bum. Pac fights Bradley twice, two high ranked great WW's battling and Floyd is fighting Marcos fu**ing Madaina.

Also, Oscar was mentioned in this thread, but no one mentioned the real question as it pertained to their fight. Oscar gave Floyd a hell of a fight coming off a long ass layoff. But following that, he got back into top shape and was ready for a REMATCH. I wonder why that didn't happen?????

Floyd will forever be viewed as someone who took the less risky, highest reward fights. Whether you like it or not, he will have that asterisk attached to his name.

yes bradley is slick. he may not be pernell floyd slick but he is a slick fighter.

and no, mosley was not the #1 ranked welter when floyd beat him that was pacquiao for beating cotto. according to ring magazine that is.

There is this idea that Bradley is slick. Not sure what it's based on but it's said often.

Apparently, Castillo can't handle slick athletic fighters like Bradley.

Not like he beat Johnston and Casamayor or anything and gave Mayweather his closest and toughest test of his career.

Which the replies have conveniently been avoided.

Frankly an extremely absurd and ignorant statement to make.

Keep going on with your flawed logic. Yes Bradley is an legendary elite boxer. One of the greatest of all times #3 P4P in the world who defeated a 40 year old Marquez and got a gift decision vs Manny. That is his claim to fame. What was Mosley's P4P status after he beat Margarito?
