Andy Lee got a gift win against journeyman Frank Horta (34-12-5) last night.

Lee, fighting at 154, struggled (and arguably lost) against journeyman Frank Horta (34-12-5).

So much for the powers of Lee's trainer, the 'Dark Lord', Adam Booth...

Been saying this for so long but Andy Lee is simply terrible.

Golovkin would have knocked him out in 3 rounds or less. Most likely less.

Lee was only given any significance in the sport due to his teaming up w/Steward if not for that he'd been a domestic level fighter which is basically what he is.

Was this fight at 154,,, was lee drained???

I have never thought to highly of andy lee,, decent fighter, but nowhere near a true title contender,, he is just kinda a gatekeeper for the ranked guys

Meh, just watched it. Rounds 1-4 were clear Andy Lee rounds. Rounds 5-6 were clear Horta rounds. 7 and 8 were debatable, but I thought Lee edged them.

Andy lee was doing really well when he was fighting behind his jab keeping Horta at a distance, but had some ****** lapses where he started fighting on the inside where Horta was much better.

Don't think weight had anything to do with it. His stamina was fine. Just fought really ****** in spots. And the ring was kind of small for the strategy I thought he was trying to use.
