Does the Pacquiao we saw last night beat Marquez in a 5th fight?

Sorry to add another thread into the Pacquiao craze, but I'm interested in what you guys think.

Pac looked a bit sluggish in the first 5 rounds last night, but turned things around from round 6 on and looked much better.

That being said, he was a lot more hesitant than we're used to seeing (I noticed he didn't do the double jab feint that led to the Marquez KO), he's a bit slower in the hand speed department, and he couldn't get the great in-and-out movement/crazy angles going until later in the fight. DISCLAIMER: I'm not saying he's done, finished, etc. but there's definitely a bit of a decline here.

So, with the Pac-JMM V fight basically only awaiting a JMM victory over Alvarado, what do you guys think? Who wins?

I doubt it. And I really don't wanna see that fight again. I hope Juan loses so we don't have to

They'll always be competitive with each other but I think that Marquez now finally has the upper hand in the mental department. If Marquez would have landed that same punch that Bradley did in the 4th it would have been lights out again.

What other options are there though? Pac's options are: The winner of JMM-Alvarado or Provo. (I'm not counting Mayweather as a realistic option)

Yes. His upper body movement was completely missing unless my stream was off.

On the one hand, he hits JMM more than Bradley who slips more punches, but Bradley essentially was landing the counter right overhand that JMM trademarked on Pac.

I could see Pac battering 100 yr old JMM and then JMM landing a massive right again.

I think it's gonna be a really dull fight.

Marquez being the counter puncher wont initiate any action. Pacquiao having learnt from his KO loss wont jump Marquez. If Pac doesn't jump forward with the left hand, he doesn't really have any game/move going forward. It's gonna be a chess match, strictly boxing. IMO Pac's foot work + hand speed & pitty patty punches that he lands from the outside would win him the UD. Marquez can still KO him if he lands the right hand.

I can hear the argument that the fight could be dull, but I know they bring out the demon in each other. I think I'd be leaning a bit towards JMM in a rematch, it would all depend on how Pac approaches the fight

                I want to see jmm-manny 5..

They will always be close and competitive fights, and if manny can keep upright, i think he could pull off a close decision....

I don't really need to see a 5th Pac vs JMM fight, but if it happens, and it is Pac's next fight or the one after, Pac wins. I'll even go one further, and say without a hint of irony or troll that he'll get a KO between the 5th and 10th round. That prediction is as much about where JMM is as it is about Pacquiao. JMM should just worry about Alverado for now. Alverado is like a Rios but with more craft and adaptibilty, and that doesn't necessarily favour an aging counterpuncher as much as some people around here seem to think (unless Alverado was ruined from his wars with Rios and Provodnikov).
