I think watching the fight under the influence and then watching it soon after sober has affected your judgement. Perhaps you're overcompensating for what you thought last night.

Pacquiao looked good, not great. This is not a prime 2009 Pacquiao showing nor is it a masterclass of boxing IQ.

His speed looks to be down a little bit, still lightning fast but not as lightning fast. Outside of a few of the combos (that 10 punch combo was masterful) he was also missing a lot more and getting caught. Credit due to Bradley for that though. Near the end of one of the rounds I remember Manny firing off maybe at least 8 straight punches all missing and being slipped. That looked bad. Manny even ate a few lead straight rights which Bradley committed to for only like the first 2 rounds.

Bradley was also having some success in aggressively chasing Pacquiao when Pacquiao was retreating. Normally Pacquiao's opponents don't like to chase Pacquiao back when he dances away from a combo but Bradley did, made Pacquiao uncomfortable and caught him with a few good shots which almost never happened in the first fight.

This is all in the first half of the fight and no doubt Pacquiao took over the second half. But that was a gassed and maybe slightly injured Bradley (I can't remember if its the 7th or 8th round somewhere around there you can see Bradley visibly limping to his corner at the end of the round). That sure as hell made the fight less competitive. If you think the second half of the fight went better ONLY because Pacquiao adapted then that is just naive.

Pacquiao was a clear winner in this fight. But there were only glimpses of a great Pacquiao, not a great Pacquiao throughout.

2009 Manny KOs floyd within 8 rounds. 2014 manny has perhaps lost some of the explosiveness h once had, but has more than made up for it with refined technique. I say this version of manny wins a UD over floyd, in the region of 8-4/9-3.
Wait one second here. I wasn't going to get involved in a such a ****** thread by a completely biassed and idiotic OP, but this right here needs to be squashed.

Did you seriously just say Floyd Struggled to beat Guerrero? Asinine! I have seen a lot of **** spewed in these manny vs floyd verbal war, but come now that is ludicrous. Floyd completely dominated him, period. Hell, Floyd has completed dominated everyone since returning from retirement. The closest fight was an 8-4 fight with Cotto. So come now stop the BS.

And for that matter did you even watch the fight? Because if you did you would realize that fight was closer than Floyd-Gurrero was. Yes, Manny looked good, but Bradley was winning the early parts of the fight before he completely changed his game plan. Manny adapted, took control of the fight and look good down the stretch. However, he certainly didn't look great. Great was his performances against Oscar, Cotto, Hatton, and Margarito.

So can we for one minute be reasonable here? God damn, I never thought I would see the day were someone said Floyd struggled to beat Gurrero...

Pacquiao showed in this fight and the Rios fight what a skilled boxer he is as well as a big puncher.

Masterful performance indeed. He wasn't even tired at the end and he could easily go another 12 rounds. Sparring session for Manny.

Like I said before. Morales 1 is how you beat Manny.
yall dudes high?manny has looked bad against all 3 of the technical boxers he fought lol.jmm,bradley,morales.he looked good in spurts last night and that was mainly because of tims foolishness.the 11th rnd showed exactly what a manny/floyd fight would look like

OP: I agreed with your non-sober posts last night more.

Manny isn't close to what he was. The JMM KO of the millennium is on his mind and he's hesitant.

Dominant performance, but only the old Manny could beat floyd imo.

Manny looked better than i thought, I give him that. And Bradley is not an easy fighter to look good against.

But he has slowed down, his speed has decreased notably. However I still think that he would be one of the thougest fights for Floyd, way more competetive than Maidana.

But of course Floyd aín´t fighting him until he is completely shot. He is too much a coward.

He'd spend 12 rounds getting potshotted and accept it all the way.
Yeah,, this is how i feel,, a few years ago manny had a legit chance, I just think now floyd would potshot him, and use the lead/counter right to beat manny...

Manny looked good last night, but not good enough to beat floyd

                      Pac went bedy byes.

Floyd would beat pac, just like if Bradley fought smart, he would of too, but he let his heart take over once again
