Pac should fight Provodnikov if there is no Pac/Marquez 5

I say this because he is the only significant challenger out there for Manny outside of Floyd who presents the biggest test for him at this point in his career because Floyd Mayweather, Jr is currently out of the picture since he is with a rival promotional company.

However, Ruslan Proivodnikov currently fights under the same promotional banner as Pac and it should make for a highly entertaining fight as was witnessed in the first half of the Pac/Bradley II bout. So what say you all? Do you think it's a good idea?

Ruslan gets cut easily and has poor stamina, unless he lands something big early he's going to struggle. Fight will probably happen though, fairly sure that's why Todd DePoof wouldn't put Rios in with Provo.

Mayweather or Marquez should man up and take the Pacquiao fight.

No, I disagree because the two scenarios are very different. Marquez wants to retire now as he is contemplating it everyday. However before he does, he wants to win one last title at welterweight (his 5th) before calling it a career for good. Whereas, Pac has stated that he plans on fighting for at least another two years or more. So that gives him a window of opportunity to challenge Ruslan, at some point down the road, for a potential bout; Especially if Manny keeps running out of opponents at Top Rank and fighting recycled rematches.

You thought wrong. Almost all Pacquiao fans want to see another Marquez fight, preferably with VADA testing.

In some of their sparring footage you see Manny getting hit by Ruslan's overhand right.. imagine if that happened without sparring gloves/headgear. Ruslan is too much of a risk/low reward for these guys to fight.
