A slower Manny is still faster and more effective than pretty much any other 140-147 fighter that's remotely willing to fight him, and you're saying he should hang them up? This forum needs more thinkers.Glad Pac got the win that he had deserved in the first fight. With that said, he needs to go ahead and retire. He is obviously slower and the only fights he really has as long as he stays with Top Rank is a rubber match with Bradley or a pointless 5th fight with JMM. If the fight ever got made (which it wont), Pac would get destroyed by Mayweather. Now that he got the win he deserved over Bradley, he should just hang em up.Comment

I hope you're not trying to use the he over train excuse. The difference between Manny and Prov was Tim knew he is faster and a better boxer than Prov, but against Manny, he knew that he need to out speed him and out box him. Well, we know it didn't happen coz PAC is as fast as he is and can box better than he can. Timmeh have that reputation as a gym rat and can run for 10 miles and more. He didn't gassed out because he was over train or what not, he gassed out coz he punch himself out. He was missing those hail Mary shots and it will take a lot off you, manny was missing a lot too but his punches was more compact and shorter than Bradley's punches.I saw it, I was the first one here mentioning the mockery.
What I was trying to say was Diaz somewhat knew Timmeh would gassed in later rounds. Diaz know timmeh pretty well, just look and compare the Provo fight with Pacman.
The version of Bradley fighting Provo was like of a lion but with Pacman, Timmeh came as a 100 yr old cheetah!Comment

Manny is past his prime and may have slowed down a bit but he's still the most legitimate contender to Mayweather---not Maidana or Khan or anyone else in the Welterweight division. Floyd has no other choice after he beats Maidana but to challenge the best in the division and that's Pacquiao.Comment

At this stage Marquez would KO Pacquiao again.Pac is 35 yrs old man.
Yes his best days have passed but he is still beating prime fighters.
He became a 9 time champion tonight at age 35 which is very impressive if you ask me.
He deserves another shot at Marquez to redeem that KO loss.
Even if Alvarado beats Marquez, Pac should still fight Marquez next.
Can you imagine if Pac beats Marquez in their fifth fight?
May vs Pac would be back at the top of everybody's wish list.
Like after Lewis got ko'd by Rahman but won the rematch and went on to fight TysonComment

Manny on the decline? How? He was flat footed yes, at the first 5 rounds, what happen after the 5 round and up? Was he gun shy? Was he not throwing combos after combos and nailing Tim no matter how hard he avoid those punches? What about that 10 combination punches that all landed, then he followed it up with a left cross that put Bradley on star gazing moment? C'mon man, he alright. If Floid decided to have his team contact Manny then I'll agree with you.Comment

Manny has much less of a chance than he did before against Mayweather. Manny should have taken the fight in 09. He never could and won't beat Mayweather but will pay to see Pacquiao get whooped out.Manny is past his prime and may have slowed down a bit but he's still the most legitimate contender to Mayweather---not Maidana or Khan or anyone else in the Welterweight division. Floyd has no other choice after he beats Maidana but to challenge the best in the division and that's Pacquiao.Comment

Bradley's let whatever hype was thrown at him get to his head.
Showboating from the 4th round? And still doing it towards in the end when Pac was clearly ahead of him?
I'm not even going to start on those pub brawler punches.
Congratulations to Pac. I'm pleased over the past months Porter, Maidana, Pac have knocked Alexander, Broner and Bradley off their perches. It's a good thing for boxing.Comment
