Al Haymon was allegedly protecting Swift from the iguana eating Machine.....I see Al has been given a similiar hat to wear with this as well.....yeah,it does smell familiar....I felt like Swift was bigger than all the guys Lucas fought so therefore he'd be able to take his power better than the others....boom!!

It's the same, but Lucas beat Peterson to get that fight (a top 3). Kovalev needs to do that against someone that high in the rankings. The people he is destroying are in a very similar position to the guys Lucas was destroying before Peterson (Soto, Ajose, Mike Dallas, etc...). Kovalev has a title now but Lucas had one too before facing Peterson.

Golovkin it's in the same situation: A beast who is destroying everyone, and all the fans are claiming that Martinez and everyone else are scared of him but his best win is still Macklin, so....

Both Golovkin and Kovalev need to fight a top 3 in their divisions. Bhop or Pascal and Quillin or Sturm. If they beat one of those guys and the champion still don't fight them, then we can say that they are being avoided more that how Danny avoided Lucas. But until that point, I see it as a very similar situation.

he just beat campillo and cleverly who were 3 and 4. also cloud was ranked above them which is a joke since campillo schooled him. campillo beat 2 of the champs shumenov and cloud and cleverly was a champ. hopkins didn't want to fight him and either does stevenson so what else do you want him to do?
