My friend nobody is discrediting TB cause of his skin colour. If they were every single African American fighter in history would be discredited. Muhammad Ali would not be considered by some the greatest, SRR would not be considered the GOAT etc. so to say something ridiculous like that is ridiculous. You make it seem as though we live in an era where the coloured belt is still around. Lol you need to relax, and smoke a joint mate.

Muhammad Ali was not consider that in the moment and got plenty of hate while he was actually a fighter..Joe Lewis as well..SRR as well..The reason most of these guy's are consider some of the greatest is cause of what they went threw because of the color of their skin..Now I'm not saying I believe Mayweather or Bradley get treated a certain way cause of their skin..I have notice they get treated differently tho,Bradley cause I believe his style is a hard one to understand..He also does not score KO's which does not lend it self to being very popular..Mayweather cause of his attitude when he was younger(I actually think May has gotten so much better in this department)and him being undefeated really get's to people for some reason..

Oh and if you don't believe racism and bigotry still are very prevalent in this time your bugging..

No one knew who the hell he was before the Pac fight. NSB is not representative of the world. Bradley isn't some infamous hate figure. Enough of the siege mentality nonsense.

So is NSB the only place where they talk boxing??Or is boxing a worldwide sprt talked about across the globe??Like I said in the boxing world(and where it counts)Bradley was not giving his due before the Pac fight..I'm not saying it's because he's black..I've yet to put my finger on what it is anyway..I believe his style is hard to figure out..People like things black and white..Esp people with your mind set..

Floyd is always around family and friends, same as manny. You have no direct knowledge of the backgrounds or criminal records of everyone floyd hangs with, nor Manny.

Nobody knew who he was. That's not hate.

I'll put your finger on it - he's a dull fighter. I'm not saying because that because he doesn't knock people out or get into brawls. He does nothing....ZERO....that could be considered special. Unless you think the ability to be given the nod in every close fight is a special ability. He has no personality, no charisma. He's never dominated or convincingly beat a top fighter. Where is the "Wow" factor with this guy? I keep willing him to do something special so that I can jump on the bandwagon but I've never seen it.

To me, he's just a tough fighter who works hard and has plenty of determination and mental strength. There are plenty of guys like that though. Bradley is actually one of the luckiest guys in the sport of boxing to be in the position he is in right now. He should be thankful.

I don't know about black fighters not getting any credit, but there definitely does seem to be this stigma surrounding them that they are boring fighters, Diaz is on point about that. Mayweather entertains me though I like the quickness and when he acts ****** outside the ring as well lol. Broner just fun to laugh at, Andre Ward is becoming a master technician and that's a good thing for the sport but he rarely fights it seems and interest is wavering. He is also pretty much in the wrong division. Tim Bradley is just real ordinary. He is obviously athletically gifted to the max, but as far boxing itself he is just ordinary. nothing special about his quickness (or lack there of), power (lack), technique, etc. But somehow he has sustained an undefeated record, even though he most definitely lost to Pac.

Here is a question you can ask yourself to test the theory: If ALL African American fighters suddenly retired and there were no more left in the sport, would they be missed? I already know Mexican and Latino fighters would definitely be missed.

as a white dude watching this sport for a long time, i agree. just look at all the great fighters that never got title shots.

yet guys like Lamotta, Fullmer and Zale and graziano traded the titles back and forth, and holman williams, eddie booker and charley burley never got the chances they deserve.

Saying that black fighters are boring isn't racist. A lot of them are. They choose to box more and not go to war. And it's ok but u can't call it racism if I don't find it exciting.
