Why won't Bob Arum stack under cards like Golden Boy has lately?

Are GB undercards stacked or do they just have name value?

Because Adrien Broner vs. Carlos Molina is not a competitive fight, neither is Thurman vs. Diaz, and neither is Quillin vs. Konecny.

If we're being honest the Mayweather-Maidana card has only one competitive fight on there, and that's Khan vs. Collazo. Which could also turn out to be a white-wash.

What GBP's definition of "stacking cards", is to put big named guys up against no-hopers.

Don't get me wrong, it's not always like that. They've given us some competitive bouts on PPV undercards, like the Mayweather Canelo card had 4 competitive fights on there. But other cards don't have as many competitive fights.

The Canelo vs. Angulo card was loaded with mismatches from top to bottom.

Arum said that nobody cares about the undercard.

The May 3rd card stinks bro and the Canelo vs Angulo undercard was okay. TR doesn't even try to give us a decent undercard. GBP better give us a decent undercard for the July 12th PPV event. Just don't expect too much for the June 7th TR PPV undercard but the main event is well worth buying IMO.

It'll have names with maybe a decent fight.... LSC might be on it. I expect them to try and pair good names with Canelo undercards until he's selling more

TR's stable isn't as deep as GB's, so Bob feels the need to conserve his name guys for their own HBO subscription cards through the year.

Because hungry fighters are the ones that bring action to the ring. None of the undercard matches at more than a 3-1 favorite.

Look at Canelos vs Angulos undercard. Every single fight was won by a 12-0 unamimous decision. It was boring as ****

This undercard has way more competitive fights but some of yall only care about names instead of the sport

Now if Top Rank would do the same I think it would be extremely beneficial. Mainly bc in my opinion top rank has the more entertaining fighters in Main Events like: Pac, Cotto, Providnikov, Alvarado, Bradley, Marquez etc.. Not saying that Golden boys main event fighters aren't great as well but I feel that GBPs main events have been mis-matches as of late. No better example than Floyd/ Maidana. And I'm a huge Maidana fan but let's be honest he does t have the speed or skill to even touch Floyd I think it will be like Floyd vs Baldomir or Guerrero. So anyways is there a reason Bob Arum refuses to put top talent in the undercard like golden Boy does or did I miss something ?
Here is your answer in an interview Bob Arum recently did:

                http://mma-boxing.si.com/2014/04/10/...ds-to-improve/

He says people dont pay to watch undercards and stacking them isnt nevessary to sell ppvs

I wouldn't mind seeing Mares vs Santa Cruz at 126 and maybe a Figueroa vs Linares plus a crossroads fight between Alexander vs the Ghost. I buy this for 60 bucks.

I doubt Mares/LSC would be on Canelo's undercard and more of a Mayweather/main event sort of fight.

                    Fig/Linares is a good possibility....maybe even Thurman

I agree Mares vs LSC can be a main event down south in LA or it can be a co feat for Mayweather's undercard fight in Sept.
