Maybe next time Bob Arum will think twice about doing a Pacquiao fight 3 weeks before a Mayweather fight in the arena Mayweather calls home.

Pacquiao took off to Macau, fought at Cowboy stadium, there are talks about him fighting in China again, while Mayweather has been loyal to the MGM grand. Even with offers from NY coming in, so I could see why the MGM grand would back up Floyd more.

If Bob had a true grip about this he should have done it in private.

According to Arum, company President Todd duBoef complained to Sturm regarding the issue - and Sturm explained to duBoef that Mayweather-Maidana was struggling to sell tickets, and as a result the MGM did not remove those promotional items during Pacquiao-Bradley fight week.

There was an article about this a couple days ago before Arum went on his explosive rant.

the MGM guy basically used Pac vs. Bradley to help promote the Mayweather fight, they figured it would help them because there was no interest in that fight.

Its similar to the Guerrero fight, that is why they didn;t do that multiple city press touring or whatever.

They learned not to invest much into a fight that isn't going to do well on ppv anyway.

Its pretty shameless promotion though lol, MGM got exposed bad here.
