You can't stream the fight at a MGM property if the fight doesn't sell out. That info along tells you manny isn't selling and either Floyd has or is close to selling out. Game set match.
So why aren't they trying to promoting the Pacquiao fight more then so to maximise their profits?

Pacquiao got 18 million for Rios that was for 450k PPV: $40 per a PPV for Manny

Maywether got 32 million for Guerrero that was for 1.2m PPV $26.67 per a PPV for Floyd.

Seems like Bob got Manny on a pretty good deal.

**I haven't been terribly impressed with Bradley's performances, but give the dude credit, still undefeated and a 4x belt holder in 2 different divisions

and Arum complaining about the MGM seems silly. If he doesn't want to be overshadowed by Mayweather's bout

why fight in the SAME venue, a month before Floyd?
              Thank you

But stil out of respect to Manny and Tim they should consider taking them posters and put em back after these Saturday's fight. Besides, it's not like they didn't make money from Manny. It's just shows that MGM is showing favoritism. Bob is right though, Venitian makes tons of money compare to MGM. I guess that will be the last time TR will be holding it's fights venue at MGM.

You must understand how Vegas works. Vegas only makes money off of what's hot. They don't throw good money after bad. Let's say a club. I wanna charge you forty dollar cover but we are slow. You are with a few girls that are hot. On a slow night you'll get comped in or at the most pay 20. Now take the same club on a busy night cover goes from 40 in some case 150 all the way up too 1000 that's the highest some one personably paid me to get him and his girl in the club. So with the manny Floyd situation. You wouldn't promote mannys fight more. What you would do is comp tickets and hopefully you make it up with booze and ********. With Floyd it's sold out and some ppl can't afford fight tickets. But still come to the strip for fight parties. Shilling out 3-5k on food and drinks to have a booth to watch the fight. So you put more money in promotion behind the fight that sells out bc it's so many more ways the city capitalize on fight that sells out.
