Floyd draws better fighting lesser opponents. His fights are expensive much more so than Pac bringing in more money to the casino. Floyd v Maidana is mismatch but it'll outsell Bradley-Pac...if it doesn't I'll be shocked and eat my words but there's no hatred. I dislike Arum, but this isn't about Arum. It's the MGM deciding to promote Floyd-Maidana more because of a larger revenue increase. As someone pointed out, why schedule a pac fight at the same venue 3 weeks before Floyd fights there and has fought there a lot recently bringing in record revenue?

If this proverbial slap in the face of Manny, Bob and Top Rank doesnt motivate them to get the Floyd fight done, I dont know what will anymore.

Good point. Arum has taken Pac to make money in other cities like Dallas and Macau. While Floyd always fights in Vegas and at the MGM Grand.

There's something to be said for loyalty and business relationships.

I don't care for either fight much...Bradley was getting a boxing lesson for 3/4's of the fight with Pacquiao...unless Pacquiao has really lost it he should win...

and Arum is right, Floyd has the best deal in boxing, he's beating big underdogs in basically sparring sessions and going home with record paydays...I bet he has tougher battles in the gym...can't blame him though

Think Arum had a legitimate gripe with the MGM grand about this. He as a promoter has to stand up for his fighter, and if he feels the MGM grand is not showing them respect he should say something. However, not through a press conference. This seems like something he could have brought up to the MGM grand in private.

              Classic Bob.

Bob should have took this fight to the Venitican wait they don't have a arena or the Wynn wait they don't have a arena either. The Mandalay Bay wait they are owned by MGM so that leaves the Thomas & Mack or China.

How could Bob know if Floyd was fighting if he didn't know who to contact from his management?

He should have contacted Joe Jackson to rectify the situation or Don King because Floyd is thinking about shutting out Golden Boy.
