Kirkland, but I think he's under contract with HBO.

smh at all these whiny babies crying about the result of the fight. Can't we just appreciate having seen a great clash of styles between two of the best in the division? It was a close, competitive, highly entertaining fight. For me a draw or 115-113 score for either guy is acceptable. I personally thought Canelo deserved to edge it out because of the fact that he landed the harder shots, was the one who was 'making' the fight, and managed to cut his opponent. Lara knew what he was up against, going against the PPV star. He should have known that eeking out a close decision after trying to win via the amateur style was not going to work. He needed to win conclusively, and he did not do that. Canelo didn't have to take this fight. He did, and he came out with the victory. Hats off to him. The guy continues to ascend my list of favorites, and I think he's going to be a force for years to come.

But please, idiots, stop disrespecting these guys or calling them hype jobs etc. They're two of the best in the world. You can have a close, disputable decision without it being a 'robbery'; keep your blatant biases in your pants for Christ's sake.

The judges have rounds 1,3,4,7,8,9 in common. Canelo won four of those rounds (4,7,8,9). It seems like Levi Martinez decided to throw Lara a bone by giving him round 12.
