Canelo vs. Lara: Post Fight Discussion Thread

Well you have to admit, Lara isn't as much of a man as Floyd Mayweather.
Mayweather was actually fighting on the front foot outboxing Canelo in the pocket. Lara ran a lot, he would even move to the other side of the ring with no punches being thrown by either man. But he did have moments being elusive, but he really should of amped it up.

I expected more from both men. I thought I was going to see Lara throwing more lefts to the body, right hooks on his way out of corners.. Canelo I thought would be using more feints to catch Lara with left hook upstairs and right to the body down stairs. Then hammer the uppercuts when he got closer.

154 is becoming thin at this point. There aren't many left for these two to fight. Lara isn't gonna fight the Charlo brothers, and do we really want to see Lara/Molina 2? Canelo is in a bigger predicament since they're trying to develop him into a PPV attraction. Who the hell could he fight next (other than Cotto) that would be considered a PPV-caliber opponent?
