Bottom line, it could have gone either way. But honestly, I thought Canelo deserved the decision. As much as I respect Lara as a boxer, I felt he ran a little more than he should. Plant your feet from time to time and show the people and the judges you came to fight.

One thing I will say is though that there was no Cuban masterclass that people were predicting and even now are saying. Yes Canelo missed quite a bit but that happens when you solely on defence. Never did it look like the two were on different levels. Rigondeaux-Donaire was masterclass
