its underrated, people think lara throws a few single punches a round just to win the round by a small margin but I am impressed with the amount of sustained punches he threw vs Angulo.

The more i watch their previous fights, the more I am leaning towards Erislandy Lara.

        Imma back you up, jas.

        Their numbers vs Angulo:

        Their numbers vs Trout:

Despite all these Canelo fans calling Lara a "runner" he's still more active than Canelo.

But I know what they're gonna say, that Compubox is rigged. Hell, they might even say a bias Cuban operates Compubox.

          Interesting numbers, thanks.

Look at Angulo's jab connect % - it is 3%, that shows lara's defense is not as overrated as some say. i was listening to a great podcast show yesterday "The Boxing Coalition" and a host said lara was getting trapped in the corners by angulo and his defense is overrated but angulo takes more risk than canelo.

and even though those angulo included a lot of pawing jabs - that shows lara was doing an ok job in staying out of range.

remmeber virgil hunter sayin in the corner "you have to take punches to land punches"

and the host also said lara is predictable but canelo telegraphs his punches imo.

and lara has a way better trainer/corner man - Ronnie Shields. He is one the greatest of this era.

You gotta understand that some of these guys are just fans like everyone else here. And just like a lot of people here, they talk out of their ass and hope that someone will buy it.

Idk if it was you but someone said theres a video of Trout saying Canelo is more predictable. So who are you gonna believe? The podcast dude or the fighter who was in there with both?
