Saying that Lara is a better pure boxer, but Alavarez is more than capable of competing with him in the middle of the ring as he has a very underrated boxing ability. Lara is a pretty basic boxer, he's pretty good at what he does, but Alvarez has shown more dimensions to his game offensively and defensively to say you can't make a case for him winning.
