Canelo will try and come out like he did vs Angulo. He will not be successful due to Lara's movement. And once he feels one of those laser lefts, he will think twice before coming out like that.

Have to agree. He'll probably try to overwhelm Lara and catch some hard counters. That'll slow the pace down, which is much more Landy's style. Nonetheless, I'm not feeling confident in the outcome at all. Tough fight to call.

Wow I'm shocked at the poll. I don't know if its skewed because of Canelo hate or if people really believe that.

I picked Lara because I can't see Canelo outboxing him. But Lara's lack of inside game and versatilty worries me.

Floyd mixed it up with Canelo and was able to back him up and counter him at short range. I don't know if Lara has that type of versatility.

But I still think he has enough to win.

Lara doesn't gas out, he fights hard till the very last bell. In fact he does better in the 2nd half of all his fights.

It's probably going to be even through 6 rounds, after that Lara takes over.

I voted Lara because he'll look like the better fighter, but Canelo is going to get the same judges from the Mayweather fight and give him the win.

All of this premature whining about biased judging is really ridiculous. Not once in his career has he received a gift decision in a fight in where he had no business winning.

Bring up the Trout fight and the open scoring fiasco, but that had more to do with the WBC than anything. The fight was competitive while Canelo did more than enough to deserve a win. Let's not forget C.J. Ross was the judge who awarded Canelo a bs draw while the other two had Mayweather comfortably winning. She's the same judge who had Bradley beating Pacquiao the first fight which shows how competent she is as a judge. As long as she's not a judge there should be no issue there.

In all likelihood this is going to be a competitive fight but reading all these comments it's obvious that anything close must go in Lara's favor otherwise we'll hear the robbery cries.
