Wtf are you talking about? The only time that was said was in the Margarito fight. And it was legit. Manny kept looking at the ref for a stoppage.

How about he didn't KO him because he couldn't KO him? Saying I could of KO'ed him but I just didn't want to, is Different BS all together.
Looking to the ref to stop it, tagging him easily, cut him up badly, ahead on scorecards. just proves that Margo was tough and couldn't be put away.
Whos to say Pacquiao couldn't had stopped him if he went full force like Mosley did? Pacquiao was just throwing to do damage and entertain. Not really with bad intentions.
Bradley fan here. It's a little of both, people on here act like everything is black and white. I believe initially he wanted to trade with Ruslan but as soon he was hurt he decided against it. Bradley tried to box him and was doing well mid rounds but Ruslan's relentlessness pulled him into CQC.
Bradley was not forced to stand right in front of Provodnikov over and over and over. He clearly fought in a way he did not have to, and it makes sense that he would to prove a point against a guy he likely thought he would dominate.
Hold on now. I agree with your perception of Ruslan. You cannot run from him and this is why Roidquez opted to duck him. As far as SRL goes, he is the greatest fighter of them all. Duran didn't "kick his teeth in" at all. It was a war that you can say SRL stole in the 15th when Duran got tired. Watch the fight again. It was anybody's fight going into the 15th, and Duran did nothing in the 15th. Ray dominated that round to win the fight in my opinion.
You're crazy. If you're gonna say SRL won that fight then might as well say Bradley beat Pacquiao too.
Bradley boxed him in the middle rounds. He was being pressured then, but fought smart.
But he didnt start fighting smart. And yes, he does automatically trade with fighters he shouldnt.
Some professionals do ****** things, make mistakes, take chances. It happens all the time.
Bradley chose to engage in a war. It was ******. He didnt need to.
Same with Leonard. He could have boxed and moved in the first fight with Duran after getting hurt. But didnt.
He didnt suddenly learn how to beat Duran after their first fight. He just realised trying to out-man Duran was ******. It was a gamble that didnt pay off.

Bradley chose to fight like that from the beginning....then he got his brain turned to mush and started boxing from 3 on. The end of round 6 and the last 2 rounds was because Ruslan forced it on.
I disagree with the TS. I dont remember what happened enough to clearly say if Bradley did or didnt but it is possible and it does happen. Its no different then changing styles for a fight. If I remember correctly, I think Bradley did fight that way more then he had to or was forced to but even if he didnt, others have.
So you tell me that if Floyd fights Cotto again, he cant just stay outside or box more than in the 1st fight? Alot of Cotto fans think Cotto forced Floyd into that. I disagree. Now once Floyd got into trouble, it may have been too late to turn it around but if he didnt start that way 1st, it wouldve never gotten like that.
Trout decided to come out against Lara like a stalker which is not his style. He had that predetermined. The fight didnt start and Lara just forced Trout into doing that. He was going to do that anyways. The same with Canelo-Floyd. He was going to try to outbox Floyd. Floyd's a great fighter who wouldve whooped him anyways but the fact is Floyd didnt force Canelo into that mode. That was Canelo's decision from the jump. Now like Floyd-Cotto, Canelo may have tried to step it up after that and by then he couldnt because Floyd had set the tone but Canelo came out to fight like that.
There have been alot of times where slick boxers came in to fight different and go toe to toe. Spadafora did it in his 1st draw. There have been brawlers who come out in a specific fight to box more without being forced to. It happens often. Rigo is taking alot of heat for his fighting style. Would you be shocked if for the next fight he came out trading with a guy just to make more money and get more fans? That doesnt mean his opponent forced him to

Whats your excuse for Bradley at the end of the fight Manny clearly said "i did my best". then in "face-off" he says he take it easy on his opponents (bradley). BS!!!!!!!!
Ultimately like OP theory its to the "other fighters credit" that the fight went a certain way. And not the fighter making excuses to why he didn't get the KO. If you cant see that then bye!
yea, he got caught and was forced into abandoning his game plan. won back the rounds due to the russian guy getting winded
Are yall still trying to push this game plan agenda, in 90% fights Bradley has sat in the pocket and dummy fought Rios style, with a added element of dirtiness.........He aint have a dumb gameplan he fought how he fought and got his ass whooped
Bradley being a boxer with his no head movement having ass is a myth......A myth spewed by HBO
Bradley is only content on moving when he's buzzed.........
