What about Cotto's resume? Is Cotto's resume better then Hatton's?

      Manny Steward on Ricky Hatton:
"Vivian is a very talented fighter," he said, "as has been proven in the fact that he has taken fights in foreign countries and gone over and prevailed in conditions that are unfavourable to him and that shows the true character of his championship ability and talent."

        Here's some triangle logic.

Michael Stewart L UD Sharmba Mitchell
        Sharmba Mitchell L KO Tszyu
Hatton KO 5 Stewartm TKO 11 Tszyu

He's talking about Vivian Harris Numbnuts.

Hatton's only fought in two countries.

Cotto has fought 25 fights.. hatton on the other hand has fought 40 and fought 1 name that was known to everyone and beat him in a dirty way

Cotto has faced good competition.. if hatton didnt have a victory over tszyu right now his resume would look like ****

            Cotto has fought and beat

            Corley
            Muassa
            pinto
            abdullave
(the 3 above me being undefeated)
            bailey
torres (hard ass hitter but a nobody.. just like a joel julio but julio has more exposure)
and victoriano sosa a person that fought mayweather and gave him problems..

            iight so who hatton beat?

            tszyu......... ::::Wind blows::::

I saw a good deal of Hatton pre-Tszyu, I saw his fights with Tackie, Vince Phillips, Dennis Pedersen and a few others. Castillo I voted for though because he has bigger names, for one I felt he was robbed in the first Mayweather fight, a win over Stevie Johnston, Juan Lazcano, Diego Corrales, Julio Diaz, Joel Casamayor. All top guys, Hatton does not have this kind of resume just yet, but I do feel he is capable of establishing himself as a great fighter, but as of this moment, I have to go with JLC.

LOL! That was one of the funniest post's i've read in a while.

Corley- great amateur background, olympian, but should he be fighting at 140? He's a feather duster and a gatekeeper at best.
Maussa- Cotto TKO 10 on cuts, Hatton KO 11
                    Pinto- prospect
Abdaulev- seems to be somewhat of a late bloomer. Was coming off a loss prior the the bout with Cotto and didn't seem to be that great in the 1st place.
                    Bailey- who?
Torres- who? Once he almost knocks out Cotto he's a name, but if Cotto would of easily knocked him out no one would be talking about him.
Sosa- a tad better then N'dou

                    Hatton's resume
Phillips- has a win over Tszyu, a loss over Sharmba Mitchell (he got jobbed), and a win over Ivan Robinson.
Tackie- A win over Pendleton but one-sided losses against Hatton, Tszyu, Mitchell. A very tough customer.
Tszyu- Do I need to get into any detail on this one?

Cotto also outweighs most of his opponents that he knocks out in 6 or less by just over 15 pounds (it's usually 17).
