Wlad has been more reckless, IMO, since the passing of Manny. His defence used to be incredibly tight; now, under Jonathan Banks, he gives his opponent more chances (see Wach fight for example).

No! Ge gives his opponents no chance at all because of all this lame holding and leaning that he always gets away with! Wlad is a verry dirty fighter! Of course he can only do that with smaller fighters, thats why he didnt do it against Wach.
I cant take anyone serious who supports this guy.
Steward always tried to make Wlad more offensive but the fear of getting hit was something that never went away. Wlad fights like a coward this days. The only good about him is that he always comes in shape.

You got it all wrong. Wlad fights effective. When a guy like Povetkin has no plan B other than lunging forward trying to land a single overhand right, it naturally will result in a clinch, because it's effective and drains Povetkin. It's just effective fight tactics - and Povetkin is as much to blame.

It's the same with Leapai. It could very well be a snooze fest ala Lennox Lewis vs David Tua. It's just styles. Although I expect Wlad to KO Leapai and make a statement. Let's hope so, as boxing fans. Just don't hate on Wlad for using his natural advantages. He tries to create a fight, just doesn't happen every time.

That doesn't mean he is clean. You know how it works: never having tested positive means nothing, unless you are talking about Pac. He is squeaky clean.
