I'm willing to give him a second chance. I've followed his career for the last 8 years so it doesn't make entire sense to jump off now.

I respect Wlad as a person and someone who I aspire to be like, save all the ****in hugging

      Well said.

If the dude held a British or American passport these fools would be all over his piece.THE GOAT in fact.

Personally I can't wait to see the champ back in action.yes the Povetkin fight was a frustrating fight, but Povetkin instigated that **** just as much as the champ.refer to the Povetkin vs Huck fight,it tells you everything you need to know about Povetkins tactics when the going gets tough for him.

Haye and Povetkin fought like *******,Povetkin stayed real tight on the inside, bobbing, just as Haye stayed as far on the outside as he could to ride out the 36 minutes, then blame his abject performance on his sore toe.

Wlad has already stated he wants to repay his fans for his own performance agaisnt Povetkin,by being more aggressive versus Leapai.personally I think Leapai will be gone in 6-7.and as Wlad has already said he intends to defend versus Pulev in late summer then seek to unify.

Well said ! Still Povetkin and Haye are fantastic fighters. But it's true that we should also blame Povetkin for the clinching (I watched the fight entirely three times).

I am eager to see Wlad fighting the likes of Pulev, Fury and Wilder!

fantastic fighters don't lose to huck or almost lose to valuev. the clinching was all wlad. stop trying to revise history. compuclinch is never wrong. 187 times! off the akwindade meter! everytime that povetkin would come forward wlad would grab him before he could even throw a punch. it was a clear dq but the corrupt let him get away with it.

This is nothing more than a glorified sparring session. I understand wlad fans want to see him get Joe Louis' record. But getting it through fights like this is pathetic.

This should be a 10 round non title defense. Leapai has no business fighting for the HWT championship. His winning would do nothing but further devalue a belt that has already been reduced to almost nothing.

The thing about Haye and Povetkin is they could both have been great fights, but were both let downs. Can't entirely blame Wlad for that, both Haye and Povetkin were hesitant in their game and somehow shook when the bell rang. That's why I want to see Wlad fight a guy like Fury; he literally doesn't give a fuck and will fight toe to toe with no fear whatsoever.

You're right, sometimes it is quite difficult to imagine such a seemingly grazing shot could do so much damage. But if huge guys like Wlad hit you in the right spot, regards of how clean or flush it seems, you are going to get seriously damaged.

Yeah from other angles you can see how he turned his forearm at the last second and it was actually a very hard flush hook that looked like an overshot grazing punch. Watching the K bros in slow motion is what opened my eyes to how good they are.
