I used to favor Martinez but after Mayweather's good showing in the Canelo fight and Martinez not looking as good in his last fight I think Mayweather has a good chance to beat him at 160. Martinez is a natural 154 pounder and only won the 160 pound title because he was given a title shot. He was making 154 with no problem in his mid 30s long after his body had stopped growing. Mayweather won't be giving up that much size to Martinez and he is a better boxer. Martinez hits harder and their speed is about the same so I think it's an even fight.

Martinez would've beaten Floyd a few years ago. That's why Floyd didn't want to fight him back then. It would be classic Mayweather if he decided to fight Maravilla now.
