A rematch serves no purpose. The only person other than Castillo to warrant a rematch thus far has been DLH and Floyd wanted none of him, and rightfully so, even an over the hill DLH almost took that 0.

Mayweather needs to only fight new opponents unless he loses (since then there would be a real reason for a second fight) until he retires.

According to Sport World News, Freddie Roach said Cotto has traced the next step of his career in rented boxing.

Floyd doesnt do rematches unless its an easy fight. Floyd will try his best to fight Khan next and then two more easy fights where he wont take punishment nor engage and hes done. Thank goodness
