    Cotto eyeing Floyd Rematch, Canelo bout

    "After we beat Martinez in June, Cotto is looking at a potential rematch with Floyd Mayweather Jr. or a big fight against Saúl"Canelo"Álvarez", said Freddie Roach.


    Still two months remaining for the duel against the Argentine Sergio Martínez and the trainer of the Puerto Rican is looking to the future.

    According to Sport World News, Freddie Roach said Cotto has traced the next step of his career in rented boxing.

    "After we beat Martinez in June, Cotto is facing a looking at a rematch with Floyd Mayweather Jr. or a big fight against Saúl"Canelo"Álvarez", said Roach.

    Cotto aims to become the first Puerto Rican Boxer to win world titles in four different categories. He has been champion at 140, 147 and 154 pounds. Martinez is the current holder of the World Council of boxing (WBC), version of 160 pounds.

    "Alvarez is young and has longevity, while Martinez is getting old. After that we achieve victory, we could be looking at two potential fights, one against Mayweather and another with Alvarez", highlighted Roach Sport World News.

    LOL i like cotto but why is he chasing a rematch with floyd? go and fight canelo and then call it a day. or watch if cotto loses to martinez he's gonna fired roach and plans gets changed again LOL.

                He'll definitely have Alvarez, whether he wins or loses against Martinez. If he beats Martinez, he'll be in a position to play some real hardball.
