Why Canelo vs Lara is a bad idea.

Floyd was probably more interested in how he could market a Maidana fight. Usually fans want the most competitive fights. Nowadays most have become business men. Floyd didnt even know who Lara was until he signed to fight Marcos, then fans started saying "Why dont you fight Lara?" Why did Floyd only mention Lara NOW? Why didnt he mention him before? Partially because he was/is fighting Ishe who is a Floyd fighter. And btw, NO one knows who Lara is.

Your one of these fools that give Floyd too much credit; "Look at Floyd pretending to not know who Lara is" He still barely knows who Ghost is, or Canelo. In your head you all create these ideas that Floyd is always plotting when in actuality he may not even be smart enough to even think in that way. And he can duck Lara with or without knowing him.

Its no secret that he barely even watches boxing, and all the young fighters at TMT are the ones who keep him up to speed with whats going on in the sport. As far as who the young talent is, trainers, fighters. You think Floyd knew who Mikey Garcia was or how good he was? Those TMT fighters get together and have conversations about boxing and they are the ones who keep him up to speed and thats the only reason he gave Mikey a shoutout.

When Zab fought Khan, after the fight Floyd said fight Vargas and then you can fight me. I believe he said it at the Cotto media day at his gym.

You say Floyd new fans wanted him to fight Lara, when have fans EVER wanted that fight? NEVER. Not until very recently. Most fans, including boxing figures felt it would be a boring match up. Fans NEVER wanted that fight until very recently when Floyd did the poll and people were saying, "Why didnt he add more fighters to the poll like Thurman, Lara etc"

All of this stuff is in your agenda bubble. See when I talk about boxing, Im here to talk about boxing. Before you can speak about boxing, you stop and figure out what you can say to be biased for or against this fighter. Or that fighter.

Canelo struggled vs technicianslike Mayweather and Trout. And Lara hits much harder and has better footwork than those 2 boxers. Annihilation is the word that better defines whats waiting for Canelo if that fight ever gets made.

Canelo didnt struggle with Trout LOL. He beat his behind and outslicked the hell out of him. Lara landed some ugly, slow, pitty pats here and there.

I dont think Lara has better footwork than Floyd. He runs backwards in a straight line and gets clipped by slow powerless fighters like Perro.
Lara may use his footwork more OFTEN than Floyd, but Floyd is way more lightfooted than Lara, and he can instinctively pounce to the other side of the ring while momentarily being flatfooted.

I think Lara may hit harder than Floyd but not enough to walk Canelo down like Floyd. Because Floyd has better technique than Lara. Lara may look too small against Canelo. Canelo is faster than Lara to me. But Lara's moving style gives the illusion that he is fast. He isnt fast at all to me.

With that being said, I dont know who will win.
