since gatti, i've never seen an opponent of fraud that had a real beating. fighting fraud is just like having a sparring session at most.

fraud is the easiest fight any fighter can go through and get paid.

          truth...

Both played a part but as far as americas new stars***8230; I'm pretty sure they'll be predominatly home made. Only foreigner i see dominating the sport in the future is ggg.
Besides Floyd, the biggest boxing stars in the US are already foreign fighters, the likes of Canelo, Pacquiao, Chavez, Cotto, Marquez with Golovkin etc. When he goes, there isn't really a homegrown draw?

This is a good point. The main promoter, TR and the main network, HBO, are signing deals featuring non US born fighters. IMO its in part because they will work for less money and in part because they have buit in fanbases that can be developed.

I think Grantland even called floyd the last great American prizefighter. They may be correct unless Deontay Wilder finds a way to connect with fans or Broner gets his act together.

To think those 2 are the future of American boxing.

No, i think AMericans understand the system and want to be compensated.

How much longer you think GGG and KKK are gonna be happy with making a 3rd of what ward does when they get 10-20% higher ratings?

Thurman is going to be tough for any Welter to beat imo, and his KOs will bring in viewers. I think he's under-exposed right now. He needs to be on the GGG-Sergey plan of fighting every 3 months.
