Ha, maybe. You guys will miss him more. There's not much to left if Floyd retires. Guys like Bradley, Crawford and Ward will lose fights because they don't shy away from fights, and they're not entertaining to viewers in or out of the ring.

America's new stars will be predominantly foreign fighters.

The sport will be better without Floyd. Hes the most recognizable fighter in the sport and when people tune in they are always disappointed because it is a 12 round sparring session. It will be benefical when the face of the sport has exciting fights and does not talk about getting hurt and not taking punishment every 5 minutes.

NSB will go silent for a little while till Canelo is ready to take his place
I've been here longer than most and I can say that NSB, or for that matter, boxing will survive without Floyd.

Floyd retired, twice, and other more courageous fighters took his place. No loss.

Chavez, Sweet Pea, De La Hoya, Trinidad, Roy Jones, etc .,. NSB - still standing!

Don't let the door hit you when you leave Floyd! As one poster said, take them triathlon shoes with you, boat builder.

They'll lose because they aren't as skilled as floyd. Also you can't hold it on only floyd pertaining to the fight with pac never materializing. Both played a part but as far as americas new stars***8230; I'm pretty sure they'll be predominatly home made. Only foreigner i see dominating the sport in the future is ggg.

the sport will lose some steam for a few years when pac and floyd retire. To us hardcore fans nothing will change but overall people won't talk about it as much because there won't be a face.

Fetta was referring to the fact that NSB is filled with a ton of posters that seem to log on only to criticize floyd. When floyd is gone, what will be the reason they log on? to create words like gayverdejo and duckvaldez?

Posters who log on for other reasons surely will keep on logging on and discussing boxing.

It’s no secret Mayweather’s work ethic is second to none but it isn’t until you see it up close for yourself that you truly see and appreciate how superior Floyd is not just as a fighter, but an overall athlete. BoxingScene was at the Mayweather Boxing Club Friday afternoon to see the champ in action and I was told Floyd had taken the previous day off so he’d come into this session with a vengeance; they weren’t lying. Floyd is a beast!!.....he didn't beat up a few dudes that certain fans would've liked him to...so he gets crucified....there's a few he actually did get a chance to beat on but the same fans don't wanna acknowledge it or give him credit

he can't go back in time and fight Margarito....it's not possible, plus I know noone in their right mind had Marg over Floyd at anytime in their careers....Cotto was a TR fighter when he became the front runner....the beef between the old ***ish dude and Floyd is real....don't know when is the last time they broke bread together

is it Floyd's fault the Pac fight didn't happen?!?....I stop listening after blood tests became an issue, and that was Pac and Co. b1tching about needles and not finding veins....everything after that was just damage control....public approval tug a war!!
