I wouldn't even write off a 49 year old Popkins VS Kovalev or Stevenson. But he probably loses to both. Even if he won I bet he'd still take more damage vs either than he's ever been used to and have to use every trick he ever had-which is a heck of a lot of tricks.

Kovalev is special. And its just not his power. Look at the angles he creates before he even throws a punch. And he throws hard shots to the body that hurt. He KO'd a a guy whos never been knocked down in his career and was undefeated with a jab to the body.
