He keeps winning he might, but the smaller weights don't get paid as much, the name of the game.

There is also very few fighters who get multi million dollar pay days, like probably less than 10 in the entire world. People have this crazy idea about the money boxers make, but there is a very miniscule amount of fighters who make over 1 mill per fight, there is a miniscule amount who make 500k per fight let alone a million. Floyd, Pac, Wlad, yeah they get crazy money, but aside from them no one is making 5+ million a fight, not even Cotto or Canelo most of the time, they were lucky to get that much when facing Mayweather.

Rigo gets good money, he is definately near the 600-800k mark at least, and to a guy from Cuba who made 100 a month or so I am sure he is very happy. I imagine he is one fighter, possibly the only one, who cares more about his legacy. He truly believes he is the best, most complete fighter in the world, and I agree. He wants to be known as the greatest to lace them up, the problem is at the weight he fights he will never be able to lay claim to that title. Maybe if he packs on the pounds or just comes in under weight and fights his way up to 140 or 147 cleaning them out.

      Yeah exactly,

Frampton said that he considers Rigo the best in the world (around his weight class) and that he would like to fight him if he beats Santa Cruz.

His manager though was very quick to mention other fighters (Mares, Jhonny Gonzalez).

I can understand why most managers won't match up their fighters with Rigo, but the Cuban is in my opinion one of the best boxers in the world, he should be allowed to prove it (even after schooling Donaire, for which he got a lot of hate and the tag of 'boring fighter', while he was actuallly beating Donaire quite hard)

Santa Cruz/Frampton should happen first. Rigo should fight a bum to complete his Top Rank contract and then go after Kiko.

Just because of Arum campaign to destroy Rigo. I hope Rigo can sign with AlHaymon who is the one willing to promote well the Cubans. Arum is the one responsible for this

Nonito had decent pay at this division. Only he needs a good promoter instead one who are doing everything against him.

Team Frampton would be smart to turn a blind eye to this little taunt if they know what's good for them.
