We've seen those fights before. Ndou was 31-1 with 30KOs and kept coming at Floyd. Mitchell, Corley, they've all done the same thing and what will happen to Marcos is the same thing.

Maidana needs to understand that he is a Cherry Pick, nothing more nothing less.

He's worked extremely hard to get to this point. I don't want to disparage him on that basis. He's a credible fighter, for everyone not Floyd. He's just simply not Floyd, nor is he close to it. Not a knock on him, that's everyone else in the same boat. Once in a while, you get that athlete that is clearly superior to everyone else around him or her. Barry Bonds at bat as a Giant, Nadal at the French Open, Gretsky on the ice as an Oiler and Floyd in a ring. It's just magical, I just sit back, enjoy the show and marvel at brilliance. We will again at Floyd's mastery on May 3, 2014.

I am impressed though, by Maidana's good positive attitude. He's a realist who believes in himself... and unlike his last fight, we don't have to listen to alotta low classed loud mouthed thug talk. It would be a wild night though if he connects with a bomb of two and shakes things up.
Sounds like you like Maidana! Too bad you don't hane any confidence in him to win this fight. The messed up thing is once he gets beat down you will sing a different tune and talk about how "weak" he is lol

Easy fight for Floyd, as usual. All he had to do is run and catch Marcos with a good shot like he did with Hatton. Run Floyd run. Hehe...

I haven't commented in over a year and it's the same thing. Floyd is cherry picking!!! Who should he fight? Pacquiao? Until Arum is not in the picture, that won't happen. People fail to realize, Pac has not and will ever come close to making the money Floyd has. Blame Bob Arum. The only two fighters who legitimately have a chance are both Top Rank fighters. Anybody else is considered a cherry pick. It never ends.

Extra motivation is another factor, along with punching power, workrate and heart, Maidana is bringing to this fight to beat Mayweather. I think Floyd will need to hurt Chino with his surgical punches if he wants to keep him at bay. If this is not the case, he will likely have a hard time and yes, he can lose.

I've not seen in a long time this excitement surrounding a fight here in Argentina. Chino felt this on the streets, the media and the soccer stadiums, and his motivation has risen to the sky because of this. He is entering the ring, as he did in the Broner fight, dressed in the colors of his favorite soccer team, Colón de Santa Fe. He will carry to the ring some of the Argentine soccer spirit... Floyd has to expect some hooliganism against him that night.
