Coming from a guy that didn't want the rematch with Broner because he felt he might loose the rematch. Now I'm supposed to believe he really thinks he can beat Mayweather, a fighter thats 20 times better than Broner if not more.

He's a good fighter no doubt and if he does not retire after this fight he will go on to win great fights. It's just that Mayweather ill make him look like a bum.

i really love manny and i will be rooting for him against bradley, but some of his fans make it difficult, for them every boxer that fights floyd is a bum unless that guy is pacquiao. that being said, what's wrong with being optimist? at least chino is coming from a big win (the bigest of his career) and with a belt

We all want a good fight, hell, us Floyd fans want to see him tested a bit. He doesn't have a classic victory because none of his fights are really close. People talk about Mosley's punch in the second round or Cotto's jab making him bleed, purposely not stating that Floyd whitewashed Mosley afterwards and Cotto lost 9-3. Outside of KO6 perhaps, people refer to these two moments in time. There aren't any illusions as to who is the best boxer in the world right now. It's Floyd and he has all of the variables in his favor and he's never abused his gift, that is the most important thing.

He grew up in a family of boxers, of champions.
Gifted with physical attributes and doesn't abuse them. No alcohol or ballooning up in weight.
Studies fighters during off time to help develop his impeccable ring IQ
Has near perfect technique to everything he does.
At the height of his fame, still pushes himself as if he hasn't made it.

I'm honestly expecting a comfortable coasting to 49-0. His biggest weakness would be his brittle hands. However, given what I've said, who have we seen that was like Floyd as far as not abusing things as far as being clearly superior to their competition.

Michael Jordan would smoke cigars and make late night trips to Atlantic City for gambing

Lawrence Taylor was a coke head when he played for the Giants.

Mike Tyson was a mental case when he reigned in the heavyweight division

Roy Jones never bothered to learn great technique before his demigod like physical skills went away.

Lebron James is in the same mold as Floyd, I'd say Barry Bonds was as well when it came to preparation, but Balco might have something to do with those HR numbers. Point being, there will be a day when Floyd can't do what he does anymore and that is inevitable. However, I don't think we will live to see that day while Floyd is in the ring.

I believe. Maidana is that loophole in the system. Like mayweather said, where will you be when the moment happens and Maidana lands that overhand left and starts beating the **** out of Floyd in the ropes.

I'll be ready and watching whe the moment comes.
