Comments Thread For: Photos: Braehmer, Maccarinelli Final Presser Face To Face

Here are the main quotes from today’s final press conference ahead of the fight between WBA Light Heavyweight World Champion Juergen Braehmer and former Cruiserweight titlist Enzo Maccarinelli on April 5 at the Stadthalle Rostock, Germany.

Juergen Braehmer: "Maccarinelli can let his fists fly as much as he wants, I will be the one landing to decisive punches and that is all that matters. The WBA World Title will not change hands but my hand will be raised on Saturday."

This is one of those rare fights where both guys faces will look better after they beat each other up.

Looking forward to this, even though it's for a meaningless strap. Not a fan of either, but hope Enzo gets the win.

I am going to stick my neck out here and say I like Enzo too pull the upset off.
I don't think Enzo is shot he is just a very good fighter with no head movement, defensive flaws and a sub-par chin, a horrible combination.
He has kept his defense tight as of late. As long as he keeps that chin hidden he will beat Braehmer who IMO really is on the slide.
Braehmer is looking worse everytime out & whilst he was certainly not the puncher many claimed, what happened to his power?

          Enzo is a ****er.

This is going to be a fun fight.

Someone is getting laid out. Probably Enzo.

But Enzo is right he genuinely brings the fight to his opponents and is dangerous. I hope he lands a big shot and takes the title.

Then he can unify with Hopkins....lol.

Brähmer has not the best defense just as Maccarinelli. But Brähmer is a tough S.O.B. and that will make the difference.

Don't have a favorite in this one, but I expect to be entertained.

Enzo was buzzed several times during the conference by camera flashes.

Braehmer by early KO. Even though he's spent his entire stage-managed career avoiding real opposition, he's the far better light heavy in this fight and will blow Enzo away.
