At the very least Rios and Alvarado aren't smart enough to fight the upper echelon of fighters in their division. The ONLY thing Alvarado has going for him is Marquez is 40, and with drug testing in place, he's a smaller, slower, past his prime, 40 year old counter puncher, who isn't the same juiced up guy who fought Pacquiso last.
One of the dumbest post I've seen in a while.

Alvarado could say anything if it hypes him up, but I don't see him beating Marquez. Even at 40, Marquez is just a better, and smarter fighter.

I see Alvarado putting Marquez down in the early rounds, but we know Marquez always gets up. Marquez will figure him out and put him out by the 10th round.

That's nonsense. How could he overlook Ruslan after the Bradley fight? It's annoying when fighters at championship level say they overlooked another championship caliber fighter. The man's trying to take your belt. You're gonna overlook him? Ruslan wasn't some fill in tomato can he was fighting.

Just use the Bradley game plan. Alvarado can beat marquez the same way.

Not easy executing a gameplan when you don't have the right tools. And Alvarado definitely doesn't have the tools necessary for that kind of fight .

What a bunch of BS from Alvarado. Honestly he showed some guts in his past fights, I even forgave him for quitting on his stool in a very close fight where he didn't even take a quarter of the punishment that Herrera or Bradley had taken, but then to go and blame it on not taking the fight seriously and all that? Its just weak, and I don't buy it for a second. He didn't have any prospects of a Marquez fight or anything crazy like that and no one in their right mind would blow off Ruslan after the beating he put on Bradley ESPECIALLY after seeing Bradley go 12 with Manny on two bad feet and come out without a sc****...talk all that **** no ones listening. You got beat up and forced to quit plain and simple, and you'll probably get a good win over Marquz cuz he's old and slow and gets hit too much now and he's all stiff at this weight but don't let it inflate your big head and make you think you're better than what you are. Hopefully Dynamita comes in on point and schools this kid and knocks him out...I hate punks that pretend to be something else

Honestly, he stands a decent chance in a rematch. Alvarado is a tough guy, but he failed at being a tough guy and just standing in thee with Rios (the first time) and Provo. Alvarado also has marginally more tools to work with when compared to Provo or Rios (IMHO) and that showed in Rios 2, and if he was smart he could probably win a Provo 2.

Though for the sake of their grey matter I think all 3 of them should stay away from each other for a bit.

I actually think JMM's KO of Pac rally pushed his stock higher than it should be, and Alvarado has more tools than Rios. If Alvarado doesn't get ring generaled and countered to death, it could be a really interesting fight.
