Marquez definitely looked like he was on something.
He had never looked like that. Just compare with his previous fights, where he looked like the skinny Juan like usual until he started becoming a hulk starting in JMM/Pac 3. Hiring of Memo Heredia who is a PED expert doesn't help his case.

JMM seemed to be able to take a punch better as well. The wind of pacs punches missing his chin in the first fight nearly put JMM over.

Pac went for the kill way too early in the fourth fight that's why he got koed when JMM still had a clear head even though he was getting a beating. Pac losing to JMM is no big deal really, just a mistake.

He Hulk smashed Pacs face in even though Pac thought he was hungry so he decided to eat some hulk fist. Pac got laid out, mistake on his part and Marquez capitalized.

It could have been a picture perfect ending to Marquez career, too bad he didn't hang up them gloves.

Better comparison would be Pacquiao-Armstrong. Pacquiao throws almost twice as many punches as Mayweather. His punch output went up by like 400 punches when he moved to WW.
