He was taking the beating of his life in the Martinez fight and his corner didn't throw in the towel. His current trainer was in his corner for that fight. The danger for Chavez is if he's getting beaten up but doing just well enough to prevent his corner from stopping the fight.

Golovkin should stop him by a body shot in the late rounds after a good beating

Good point that beating he took will also have it's tool in this fight. I think it's safe to assume GGG is a bigger puncher than Sergio so his long-term health could be at risk as a ramification of this fight. The problem is Chavez is a big ass torta which might be enough to withstand Golovkin's power due to size alone. It'll be fun to watch make no mistake about hopefully it's not at anyone expense.

Really? 2 stoppages in the past 10 fights with very few kds scored. No kds on Vera for example

Brutal fight indeed. GGG's biggest test so far and it'll be the first time he gets hit by a real puncher. I'll never bet on Chavez because of his lack of discipline.

Well who has Stevens knocked out at all?

Whilst he hasn't stopped as many and Stevens has and it looks nice on paper, the difference in opposition is vast.

I doubt Stevens has an any better KO record against the same opponents, I doubt he even beats all of them.

Chavez is much larger and clearly a heavy handed fighter.

Almost stopped Martinez, whilst not stopping or dropping Vera he hurt him multiple times.

I see nothing to suggest Stevens hits harder other than some nice highlight reel KO against bums.
