It is a matter of consistency, people that like Golovkin like to throw the feared, nobody will fight my man, God of War and then he looks reticent to fight Ward (which is understandable) but he decides to move up to fight JCC Jr. which is a great career move.

So the people who constantly dog the business of boxing trumpet the causes of a Golovkin but fail to hold them accountable in the same way they do others.

I personally don't have an issue with a guy making the right career moves never have because I know I would do the same things, but a lot of other ****ers do. If people don't want to get dogged (or their pet fighter dogged) they should hold people to the same standard, if you don't then expect to get dogged. Golovkin is just the flavor of the month in terms of the most feared man thing, it will all change soon and it will be some other dude so it really has very little to do with him.

You dont seem to understand the difference between ducking and not going after the toughest fight possible. Itd make more sense if Ward made an offer but didnt even get to that. Is Ward ducking by not pursuing Kovalev and Stevenson? Heck he even got called out by Adonis who said hed drop to 68

Its not a recent thing, heres Eddie Hearn telling you nobody at 60 wants to touch the guy over a year ago

Ward said he wanted the fight, that is enough for most people.

I see Ward get called out a lot and people do say he should move to 175 so what is your point? They certainly don't want Ward to fight anyone but the best there and if he did not people would call him on it point blank period. If Ward fought B-Hop for twice the money instead of Kovalev what do you think people would say (and B-Hop is higher ranked still)?

I get it perfectly fine, that is exactly how it works here.

Why on God's green Earth would I give a flying **** about what Eddy Hearn has to say~ I don't listen to what anyone really says in boxing because it is all pointless talk said for a reason.

martinez and golovkin both chose their next opponents with money in mind, clearly, but golovkin's cash grab is still far more forgiveable than sergio's

martinez is dragging a past-prime fighter up in weight even though he has opponents in his own division willing to face him

golovkin is moving up in weight against a prime fighter because no one in his own division will face him

moving up and immediately facing the #1 guy is a big ask of anyone, especially if they still plan on fighting in the below division afterwards. i am confident golovkin will face ward when the time is ripe, but at the moment he has more immediate priorities. the chavez jr fight is just a brief digression with the primary objective of raising his profile, making him a "cash cow" in his own right

Ward said he wanted the fight? Must have said it real quiet or in a private email to you. Did he tell you why no offer was made?

Dont worry about what others think, if you feel Ggg is ducking Ward then YOU must feel Ward is ducking the LHWs at least. For consistency sake which i can tell means much to you.

Hearn is the most powerful promoter in the UK, the definition of insider. Hes probably more of an authority on whos getting ducked than some message board windups, dont you think?

I am not fishing for quotes Ward has clearly stated that is a fight he would like, Golovkin's trainer ran his mouth about Ward saying they wanted him but the challenger is suppose to seek the champion not ass backward like you think it is.

You don't read real well because I said I don't think that~ and am perfectly fine with Golovkin fight JCC Jr. but I have never had a problem with such a thing because it is a wise career move. The vast majority though I can tell you don't share that view and those people should keep it consistent.

Hearn is a promoter whose job is to sell for a living, anyone selling is not a good source of info. If you don't get that then I can't help you~

Ok whatever. I can find you similar quotes from Stevenson regarding Kovalev etc. Want a fight, make an offer esp if youre the earner of the two. Definitely dont say itll be bigger down the line etc

Promoters tend not to sell other promoters fighters. They generally boost their own, not make them look weak like Hearn and DiBella. Surprised youd need this explained but you seem to be stuck in cliches

Words are meaningless in boxing, which you can apply to Ward also because him saying he wants the fight benefits him.

Which is why I don't care about any of that noise really, lots of people do though which was my whole point. IF you care about such things be consistent if you don't be consistent. Go read post number 31 again, carefully this time~

You didn't explain anything you ran off on a wild tangent that had little to do with what my point was.
