It's looking like Cotto's plan is to pressure a lot. Martinez withstood the pressure of Chavez and Pavlik. The pressure of the much smaller and weaker Cotto shouldn't be an issue.

I wouldn't say Martinez has never faced anybody like Cotto. I'm sure Martinez fought an opponent as weak and undersized as Cotto at some point in the past. It's absurd to suggest that Cotto, undersized at 154, will be better at 160 than the long reigning middleweight champion.Comment

War implies the fight will be competitive. Most likely, this will be a beatdown. Cotto will pressure, like he did against Trout. He'll get countered, also like he was against Trout.
