Stephen Espinsoa tweeted that Guererro-Khan was not possible because of Guerrero's legal issues with GBP.

So? Guerrero is still in a legal wrangle with Golden Boy so he couldn't be put onto the May 3rd card. It's funny that you'll believe Guerrero who is just desperate to keep his name in the spotlight but you won't believe the head of Showtime. Shows how ****** you really are.

Don't worry. Maidana will probably start crying about retiring on May 4th just like he did after Devon Alexander beat him up

isn't khan doing the same every week by saying something ****** like how he is gonna call out floyd in the press conference or how his hand speed will beat floyd and how he is so great?
I mean, marcos might loose (he had all the odds against him) but he is fighting the best, khan most probably is gonna get KTFO by collazo

            Wishful thinking.

Maidana will get shutout and he will have a loss and no belt. Maybe then he can stop ducking Thurman.

Anyone who decides to box Maidana makes him look like a desperate bar brawler swinging for fences. Heck even a shot Erik Morales with "ONE" eye for 11 rounds made it competitive to a point there is an argument for a Draw lol.

Too bad after May 3rd the old excuse of "no robert garcia" to defend Maidana's losses wont be good enough anymore.

Champions are not obligated to fight 2 mandatories back-to-back. Khan already fought Salita who was the original mandatory.
That doesn't change the facts. Those are only lame ass irrelevant excuses.

Fact 1: Khan did nothing to deserve his title shot at 140 against Kotelnik. He had never fought at that weight, much less beat anyone of note. His title shot was gift wrapped for him by GBP and the WBA who were licking their chops at the sanctioning fees.

Fact 2: Maidana was WBA Champ before Khan. I suppose you will try to argue this fact even though it's based on historical events that were witnessed by millions.

Fact 3: Kotelnik-Khan went off with the WBA specifically saying the winner had to fight Marcos Maidana - the interim champion.

Fact 4: Nobody ever enforced a Salita mandatory. Khan begged off the Maidana fight which was the true mandatory against the interim champ and because he knew Salita was the easiest fight ever and a *** he jumped at the chance for obvious reasons. To act like that fight took precedence over Khan-Maidana in anyone's eyes - including the WBA - is ****ing ******ed.

Fact 5: Khan couldn't "just drop" the belt like you casually state. He would have ****ed over the sanctioning body that had made him a paper champ and cost his promoter money by not fighting a title bout on HBO as well.

Had Khan "just dropped" the first world title belt he ever had, and one that was basically gift wrapped for him, he would have been an even bigger laughingstock then than he currently is now.

                  1. So?

                  2. Maidana has never been WBA Junior Welterweight Champion. What the *** are you talking about, Baldy? He lost to Kotelnik who was WBA Champion. Khan beat Kotelnik. When did Maidana become champion? Derp?

                  3. Wrong again, Slap Head. Dimitri Salita was paid step aside money so Khan could face Kotelnik. Once again Maidana LOST to Kotelnik in his mandatory shot. Salita was the next mandatory.

                  4. See point 3.

                  5. Khan could have easily dropped the belt and you were one of the morons who said he would!
