I don't think it necessarily concedes that. I think at most it could just prove that Main Events thought at the time it would not be worth going through the trouble of taking it to court. Or she just didn't want to sound hostile because it wouldn't do any good.

GGG has danced around the Ward fight with one excuse after another contradicting himself. But he took a fight in the division that Ward rules, against a lesser fighter and bigger draw. To be fair, Stevenson's promoter isn't going to come out after the fact and say, "I thought we had a deal in place, but my fighter decided to duck Kovalev instead."
