Really? I don't dislike Stevenson because he's black, and I don't want Kovalev to win because he's white. I dislike Stevenson because of his past in one of the most vile criminal industries possible that takes advantage of the weak and vulnerable. If it was Kovalev in his place, I'd think the same about him.

Hopkins wants to become lineal champ by beating Stevenson/kovalev winner.
Stevenson did not want to risk a Hopkins fight by fighting kovalev.
It's not a money thing, hbo offered an amount stevensons promoter and lawyer agreed to.
It's al haymon whispering in stevensons ear how much he could earn in a Hopkins fight.
Al haymon staff member Sam Watson has been seen with Stevenson in gbp fights long before al haymon signed him.


Now where we stand:

If lawsuit fails, Stevenson fights fonfara then Hopkins, loses to Hopkins and Hopkins vacates........ Meaning Stevenson goes back to hbo to fight kovalev for vacant lineal crown which can only be contested by number 1 and 2.
