Then moved to 140 by 1996 and fought his first big PPv vs Chavez

By 1997 he went to welter and fought pernell, camacho, Chavez 2, Miguel angel Gonzalez, and basically was becoming a star by having these fights with older bigger names

By 1999 he went on a run of fighting all the top welters like Ike, Carr, Tito, Shane

By 2001 fought gatti at welter but then moved up to 154 and fought castello, and Vargas, campos,

2004 moved up to mw and challenged sturm and Hopkins

Shane and oscar are about the same size,, Shane was a monster at 135 just like oscar but outgrew it and was a true welter
Im not going to act like I know all about Oscar but I know how on this site people go out of their way to discredit one fighter, when other fighters are way worse. Look like he was protecting his body in some of his fights by cheating and using dirty handwraps. Again Im not going to go too hard on this one, but I was trying to find another video where his whole resume was shredded.

A REALLY good one. What do you think; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XM8hA5w678k This video is only worth watching until it starts talking about Ward. After that it has nothing to do with the subject at hand.

REALLY good one but when it gets to Ward and Chad it gets off subject. You can stop it at that point

I'm a big fan of oscar. If he's fighting at today's time he would be having an average of 3 million buys. Oscar didnt't hype his opponent like Floyd does so that people will buy his fights. Lame. " I see Cotto as undefeated. etc etc."

If you're a rich guy you don't have to say it. People will see that.

Oscar didn't brag anything about being an attraction. he just loves his fans.

Oscar say a lot of words now for business. that's why people hate him a little but thats totally understandle.

Not to mention fighting Floyd and manny

Oscar pretty much fought all the big fights everyone wanted to see, was always exciting and yet somehow people always b!tch about him
Not a fan of Oscar. Great list of names on the Resume, Great Bussiness acumen. He was the peoples champ and got quite a few decisions go his way hes good but over rated ( Wouldnt put him in the top 5 in his era ) look at the people you listed he only beat 2 of them. Ike ( controversial & after a lay-off ) & Vargas.

Yeah but basically robbed vs tito and shane 2,, should have lost to sturm,,,

plus he has wins over gatti, mayorga, lieja, molina, ruelas, gonzalez, camacho, genero, castello, campos, forbes, jeff mayweather in his 5th fight,,,

Oscar had alot of big wins,, and his true first legit loss was to shane, and that was a very close fight,,,
Pernell and ike i thought oscar won,, close fights, i thought he def beat ike with the kd late,, pernell could have gone either way,, not a robbery just a close fight..
Oscar clearly outpointed tito and shane 2, even though they rallied late as oscar played it safe vs tito, and gassed abit vs shane 2

If Floyd took half the risks Oscar took, he wouldn't be undefeated. A person that is truly great as they say, takes risks and overcomes them. Oscar did the a lot of the times.
